"I work in the spaces between — the symbolic, the subconscious, the threshold moments that reshape a life."

About me

This work isn't about becoming someone else. It's about remembering who you already are.

Hi, I’m Sarah (she/her)

registered clinical counsellor (RCC)

I came to this work in part because I’m neurospicy myself — I know firsthand how hard it can be to move through a world that isn’t built with you in mind. And I’m constantly inspired by the resilience, creativity, and depth of the people I work with.

I also hold a lot of privilege, and I care deeply about using that to support, advocate, and help resource the communities I’m part of. Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you — it’s about making space for who you already are, and helping you navigate systems that don’t always make room for that.

In our work together, I bring humour and levity wherever it feels right — not to deflect, but to make things feel more human. I don’t believe in being a blank slate. I show up as a real person, so you can too. You get to be a full-spectrum human here.

Outside of therapy, I spend a lot of time “whimsymaxing” — watercolours, cross-stitching, scrapbooking — and hanging out with my soulmate dog, Alma.

02

First session

We'll move through an intake — your history, your current experience, and what's bringing you here. We simply start where you are.

03

Ongoing work

Many clients begin weekly or biweekly for the first three months, then adjust. Structure serves the work — the work remains responsive to you.

FAQs

Things people
usually want to know.

  • We'll begin with an intake conversation — a space to understand your history, what's currently present for you, and what's bringing you in. There's no pressure to have everything figured out. We simply start where you are.

  • Not at all. Astrology is one of many tools I draw from, and it's always guided by your interest. Some clients engage with it deeply, while others prefer not to use it at all.

  • Many clients begin with weekly or biweekly sessions for the first three months. From there, we adjust based on your needs, your capacity, and what feels most supportive.

  • That's what the discovery call is for. It gives you a chance to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide whether it feels like a good fit before committing.

  • While conversation is part of the process, our work also includes the body, symbolism, and deeper patterns that may not be immediately conscious. It's less about fixing something, and more about uncovering and understanding what's already present within you.
